This Privacy Policy describes how the Age of Origins Toolkit application collects, uses, and discloses your information.
1. Information We Collect
To provide the functionality of our application, we collect and process the following types of data:
A. Account Information
- User ID: A unique identifier generated when you use the app to sync your data.
- Email Address: Collected only if you choose to sign up or link your account to save your progress. You may also use the application as a “Guest” without providing an email address.
B. Gameplay Content
We collect the data you voluntarily input into the app to allow you to save and retrieve your configurations across sessions.
C. Uploaded Images (Scan Packs)
When you use our image import feature (“Scan Pack”), you upload screenshots from the game so we can automatically extract Officer, Titan, and Warplane statistics. These images are transmitted to our backend and to a third-party AI vendor (Anthropic, Claude Vision API) solely for the purpose of stat extraction. Only the extracted text/numeric values are persisted in our database — the original images are not retained after processing.
D. Purchase History
If you subscribe to our “Elite Access” or make other in-app purchases (including consumables such as Scan Packs and Alliance Premium Points), we process your purchase history and subscription status to unlock the corresponding features. For Alliance Premium Points, the purchase is credited to your alliance's shared pool, and your nickname is visible to other members of your alliance in the alliance points ledger as a record of who contributed to the pool.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- App Functionality: To authenticate your login and save your calculator preferences/settings to the cloud.
- Account Management: To manage your account and restore your data if you switch devices.
- Subscription Management: To verify your premium status and grant access to paid features.
3. Third-Party Services
We utilize trusted third-party service providers to support our infrastructure. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
- Supabase: We use Supabase for user authentication and database storage.
- RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions, consumable purchases, and purchase validation. We do not have access to your credit card or payment details; these are processed securely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). For Alliance Premium Points, we attach a non-personal subscriber attribute (your alliance ID) to the purchase event so that points can be credited to the correct alliance pool.
- Anthropic (Claude Vision API): When you use the image import / Scan Pack feature, the screenshots you upload are sent to Anthropic's Claude Vision API solely to extract game statistics (numbers and text). Anthropic does not retain these images for training or other purposes per their API terms. We do not transmit your account identifiers or other personal data alongside the images.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active.
You have the right to delete your data. You can delete your account and all associated data directly within the application settings by selecting the “Delete Account” option or by contacting us at the email address below.
5. Security
We implement reasonable security measures, including SSL/TLS encryption and secure token storage (Keychain/SecureStore), to protect your information from unauthorized access.
6. Children’s Privacy
Our application is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy.
